Our Sourcing
It begins with trust
Every herb we sell starts with a single decision — whether we can trust where it comes from.
We will not list a herb — however sought-after, however profitable — until we have found a supplier we would stake our name on. If we cannot source it honestly and identify it with confidence, we simply don’t offer it.
We would rather carry fewer herbs, sourced well, than a longer list we could not stand behind.
A lifetime with these herbs
Suppliers who have spent a lifetime with these herbs
We are not romantics buying baskets at the roadside. We source from established, reliable herb houses across Tamil Nadu — many of them in the trade for sixty and seventy years, spanning generations.
These are people who employ their own network of gatherers, who work directly with wild and cultivated sources, and who export their material to the world. They know herbs the way few do — which plant, which season, which grade — and they understand exactly what quality demands, because they have been meeting that standard for decades. When you buy from suppliers with that depth of experience, you inherit the judgement of a lifetime spent among these plants.
For certain herbs, we go a step further and source from well-established Siddha companies themselves — because for some traditional preparations, authenticity is best guaranteed by those who have made them, the classical way, for generations.
Why we pay fairly
We pay fair market price, and we do not drive it down.
When you press an honest supplier to sell for less, you don’t get a better deal — you get a worse herb. The pressure to cut the price becomes pressure to cut corners. We refuse to put our suppliers in that position.
We pay what the herb is honestly worth, we come back season after season, and in return our suppliers trust us — and bring us their best material, including the rare herbs that rarely reach the open market. Fair dealing is not only right. It is, very practically, how we come by herbs this good.
Knowing what we receive
Knowing exactly what we receive
A herb is only as good as its identity, and many of the most valuable herbs are also the most adulterated. So we treat what arrives at our door not as finished, but as raw material to be earned. Our proximity helps — our facility sits at Pollachi, in the foothills of the very ranges where many of these herbs grow, which means fresher material, shorter supply chains, and the ability to see, smell, and verify what we receive.
Dried as needed
On receiving, we sun-dry or shade-dry each herb exactly as it needs — never rushed, never over-processed.
Cleaned & sorted
Every herb is cleaned physically by hand and carefully sorted before it is ever ground. Nothing is taken on trust alone.
Then milled
Only once it has earned its place is a herb milled — in considered batches, to protect its scent, colour, and character.
A capable facility, run with great care
A capable facility, run with great care
Ours is not a vast industrial plant — and it doesn’t need to be. It is a good, well-run facility, capable enough to source, sort, process, and manage over 150 products across multiple formats and lines, yet close enough to give every herb genuine attention.
That balance is deliberate. We test every batch ourselves to FSSAI standards, and we periodically send our products to independent third-party laboratories for further verification. We are audited from time to time by FSSAI-approved third-party agencies. And we keep learning — refining our process, improving a little each year, because we believe good work is never quite finished.
Our tryst with tradition
Over the years, the support and encouragement of our customers has motivated us to give our best — in quality, and in service. That trust means a great deal to us.
What we do is simple: we bring some of the time-tested herbs of Tamil Nadu to our store, and make it easy for anyone, anywhere, to enjoy them. That has always been the whole of it.
