Where ancient wisdom
meets modern wellness.
Born in 2015, Yogis Herbs is our tribute to the time-tested herbal wisdom of Tamil Nadu — gathered from the Western Ghats, carried forward through generations of Siddha and Ayurveda tradition, and now shared with the world.
A return to nature’s wisdom
In every Tamil household, there was once a kitchen garden and a grandmother who knew which herb helped which season. Arugampul at dawn. Vasanai podi on festival days. Kadukkai after a heavy meal. Avarampoo for clear skin. This was not medicine. This was daily life — the unhurried wisdom of a land that had lived alongside its plants for thousands of years.
Yogis Herbs began in 2015 with a simple hope — that this quiet wisdom deserved to live on. We walked through the hills and villages of Tamil Nadu, meeting farmers, herb gatherers who still carried the old knowledge. They taught us which plants to seek, when to harvest, and how to prepare. We listened, we learned, and we began the gentle work of bringing these herbs to anyone who might welcome them.
Our promise is simple — share these herbs in their purest form, with nothing added and nothing taken away. Just the plant, as nature offered it, and as tradition has used it for generations. Support a rich heritage of wisdom that helps everyone enjoy a better quality of life through naturally smart herbs, healthy food habits and a balanced lifestyle
The herbal wealth of Tamil Nadu
Across the Western Ghats, the Kolli Hills, the Sathuragiri forests and the Alagar range, Tamil Nadu is home to over 700 documented medicinal plants. Yogis and siddhars cultivated this knowledge for centuries. Yogis Herbs is a bridge between their tradition and your wellness.
The Western Ghats
A UNESCO-recognised biodiversity hotspot and one of the world’s richest ecological regions. The Ghats cradle plants that exist nowhere else on earth — the very herbs that have defined Siddha medicine for generations.
Siddha tradition
Tamil Nadu’s indigenous system of medicine, practised by siddhars and yogis for over two millennia. Siddha works with the body’s constitutional balance — treating not just symptoms but the terrain that produces them.
Pollachi, our home
Our facility sits at the foothills of the very hills where many of our herbs grow. Proximity matters — it means shorter supply chains, fresher raw material, and closer relationships with the farmers who gather for us.
Sourcing with care and conscience
Tribal and farming communities across Tamil Nadu gather our herbs from wild and cultivated sources. Their livelihood depends on healthy forests and sustainable harvesting — so does ours. We work directly with these communities, paying fair prices for clean, identified, correctly harvested material.
At our Pollachi facility, we clean, dry, and mill in small lots — never rushing the process, never compromising on cleanliness. No fumigation. No irradiation. No fillers. No synthetic additives. Just the herb, exactly as nature offered it.
This is why our products carry the scent, the colour, and the character of a fresh harvest — because that is what they are.
Fresh and fragrant
Small batches milled on demand. Our herbs reach you while they still smell of the earth they grew in — because age-old herbs lose potency with age.
Cleanly processed
FSSAI Central Licence · GMP compliant facility · ISO 22000 certified · Third-party audited. Routinely tested for heavy metals, microbes, and authenticity. No shortcuts.
Nothing added
No fillers, no preservatives, no synthetic colours, no flow agents. Single-ingredient powders are exactly that — one herb, ground and packed.
Rooted in tradition
Every product references its Siddha or Ayurvedic heritage. We preserve the Tamil names — Kadukkai, Avarampoo, Vallarai — as they have always been known.

A gentler path to everyday wellness
The wisdom of Siddha and Ayurveda begins with a beautiful idea — that nature has already placed, in the leaves and roots around us, everything a body needs to stay well. Food, herbs, seasons, rituals, rest. The tradition asks us not to rush this wisdom, but to live with it — gently, daily, patiently.
Many of the herbs we offer are also foods — thoothuvalai simmered into rasam, pirandai ground into chutney, tulasi steeped into tea. The line between nourishment and tradition has always been soft. This is the heritage we hope to carry forward — not as a claim or a cure, but as a return to the gentle, time-tested rhythms of the land.
“Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.” The old Tamil villages knew this. Their gardens, their kitchens, and their grandmothers taught it well.
To bring Tamil Nadu’s herbs to the world
We were among the first to introduce herbs like Arugampul, Nilavembu, Vasanai Podi, and Thoothuvalai to international markets under their original Tamil names. Preserving these names — and the cultural wisdom they carry — is part of our work.
Yogis Herbs is not just a store. It is a small, quiet attempt to protect something that has always mattered — the knowledge that nature has much to offer, that tradition deserves respect, and that the simplest approach is often the most profound.
