What is it
Naval — Jamun in Hindi, Syzygium cumini to botanists — is the great purple-fruited tree of the Indian summer, so woven into the land that ancient India called itself Jambudvipa, “the land of the Jambu tree.” Within its fruit sits a single large seed that Siddha and Ayurveda have prized for centuries, dried and ground into a traditional astringent, metabolic-wellness powder. We take that seed, cleaned and milled fine, and present it single-ingredient in a vegetarian capsule — the heart of the naaval, without the work of drying and grinding it yourself.
What Makes This Different
- Pure seed, single ingredient. Whole jamun seed (kernel) powder — no fillers, binders, flow agents or extract dilution.
- Seed, not leaf or fruit. The jamun’s seed is its own distinct tradition, and it’s the part richest in the plant’s polyphenols; we use the seed, and say so.

What It Does

- Exceptionally antioxidant-rich. Of all the fruit’s parts, the seed carries the highest polyphenol and ellagic-acid content, and laboratory assays record very high antioxidant activity (ORAC, DPPH, superoxide scavenging) (in vitro).

- Traditionally valued for metabolic wellness. In Ayurveda and Siddha, the naaval seed has long held a place in traditional approaches to everyday metabolic balance.

How to Take It
Take one veg capsule twice daily with water, with or after food, as part of your daily routine. Best enjoyed steadily as part of a balanced diet rather than as a short course.
